Ikseon (Ike) Choi, Ph.D.
Email: E-mail me
Dr. Ikseon (Ike) Choi is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology at the University of Georgia, where he teaches graduate courses related to learning environments design and development. He has been leading a variety of research and development projects for case-based e-learning environments and real-world problem solving in both higher education and corporate settings. In order to conduct long-term, sustainable, design-based research on case-based e-learning environments for enhancing college students' real-world problem solving abilities, he has been collaborated with leading scholars in agricultural science, human medicine, veterinary medicine, teacher education, and nano/bioengineering. Through his multi-disciplinary collaborations, he explores the uncertain nature of various types of ill-defined, real-world problems, identifies individual and environmental factors influencing learning and real-world problem solving, and investigates effective ways of promoting the development of college students' real-world problem solving abilities.
